About Robert King

Born in Glasgow in 1957, I moved to the new town of East Kilbride with my parents and brothers in 1966. I've always had a keen interest in photography and have been photographing Scotland for over 20 years. I have a huge collection of photographs from over the years. The photographs on this site are the cream of that collection.

The images were captured at various places in Scotland. From Loch Lomond and the Trossachs to Ayrshire, Galloway and northwards to Ullapool and most places in between. Most of these images were captured on my travels throughout Scotland, the Scottish scenery can be a fascinating subject and I often return to locations I've photographed before to get a completely different image under various weather and lighting conditions.

The quality of the prints is very important to me, I want my work to be seen at it's best and all prints of the images will be checked by myself personally in order that the quality is maintained. Only when I am satisfied with the quality of the print will I sign and date it before it is sent to the customer.
